That Federal Judge who rejected the merger years ago b/w Spirit and JetBlue really screwed up. Now we have 2 airlines struggling and laying off people nonstop. I don’t love monopolies or oligopolies but the airline industry has plenty of competition and this judge messed it up badly for all groups

The US airline problem is greed and overall mismanagement because mismanagement. Plenty of far higher quality airlines that make money. (JAL, ANA, EVA, Lufthansa, SA, etc.)
