"I'm the President of the United States. I can do whatever I want." Nope. Sorry. You can't.
For the time being I would appreciate it if you didn't use the words "Breaking News" for anything but really, really big news.
Most judges, except on the Supreme Court, seem to be doing their job in accordance with the law.
overruled
Ever wonder what mental world or type of reality the Trump MAGA/QAnon base supporter lives in? Ever wonder what type of life they live? Always thinking Donald Trump will solve all their problems & grievances. Basically rural church going country folk. Hinterland salt of earth folk.
I’d rather Not look It can’t be good
after biden's n dems' illegals invasion, n now, w/ >30million illegals, deporting 1m/yr keeps dems' unspoken evil plan alive: TURN ALL SWING STATES TO BLUE PERMANENTLY w/ citizenship for illegals aka reform. if dems' plan succeeds, pres elections will be meaningless. youtu.be/6HwyTe4Pfmo
Great news!
You either want a country with a rule of law or you don’t (there are plenty of examples in the world of what happens when a government does not respect the rule of law, it’s not good). Yes, there is a legal difference in due process for some people, but not quite how some are making out.
When you are talking about the trauma of arresting someone, detaining them, pulling them away from friends and family, and threatening to deport them to another country you want to make sure there is lots of due process.
If someone crosses our border illegally they have broken the law I don't see a problem in direct deportation. Why should we clog up courts with foreigners thumbing their nose at our laws? If they're documented and on the path to citizenship they should definitely have a right to stay and a hearing.
Sorry but ice seem to pick up whoever they want no Discrimination not due process no Nothing
I'm only saying what the law reflects. I can't help what hitler trump is doing.
If the victim is taken against their will or decoyed across state lines, than the offender can be charged pursuant to 18 U.S.C. Section 1201.
Still won’t stop, take a look at los angeles- breaking the law is all that orange diaper knows how to do.
"By merely accusing you of entering unlawfully, the Government would deprive you of any meaningful opportunity to disprove its allegations. Fortunately, that is not the law." - Judge Jia Cobb
"She [Judge Jia M. Cobb] said that in a race to meet quotas — as high as 3,000 immigration arrests per day — the administration had resorted to staking out courthouses, targeting people pursuing asylum claims and other pathways to remain in the country legally."
You rock Judge !!
The rule of law wins out, who would have thought. Certainly not the Trump administration.
It’s a federal judge stopping the Trump administration from quickly deporting individuals arrested away from the southern border, halting a policy aimed at speeding up removals in those areas.
