Don’t agree with the characterisation of the NHS, or more specifically the SNHS. Anytime I have need it the level of care, compassion and professionalism has been humbling.

Completely agree, SNHS is excellent. Appointments same day or next and referrals if required.

Not sure what case you are resting brother, but anytime I have needed a doctors appointment in the last 12 months I have had an appointment the same day. I accept there are likely to be regional differences though.

It's so variable depending on when you go. I had an injury checked at one hospital's non-emergency A&E and was back in my car within 15 minutes of arriving. A family member had something similar but went to a different A&E and was there for 24 hours!
