Hi both - I also noticed this. Turned out it’s acid reflux or beginnings of ulcer - either way, COVID lives in the gut. So I’m self treating and banishing alcohol.

Suspect if linked to Covid may resolve in a year or so. Mine defo linked to Covid, and got worse after recent CT scan (all fine, but the process dehydrates). Ample hydration does seem to be helping 🤞🏼
Completely linked - I caught COVID three times last year, (disaster) and boom - lots of food I can’t comfortably eat anymore. We are on our own with all this so I’m dosing on kombucha and other gut-friendly supplements etc and staying away from all the usual things. Pretty bad pain for awhile tho
Aye. This has been since Covid last Sept and has worsened since Covid this May 🙄 Yours sounds like what first wave had. Google MCAS and low histamine diet - that helped us. No tomatoes!
Or red wine … highest histamine content of all the liquids. Since COVID, one glass and 30 mins later I have a crushing headache. I used to have exercise-induced anaphylaxis so the mast cell thing doesn’t surprise me now I think about it. Ah, shit this is going to really suck isn’t it
Ah the headaches. The GI stuff lasted about 18 months for me - I couldn’t tolerate most fruit/veg, coffee, alcohol. And I had a milder case than others. I ate a lot of adobo! BUT that was pre-vax, so it might be a lot less than that now. We took famotodine and fexofenadine to assist.
I’ll look into this, thanks
It could be really frustrating for you as such a hands-on CEO. If so, accept and redesign your work day/week for a while rather than attempt business-as-usual.🤞🤞🤞
