What did folks think of the announced #AGU25 changes? I appreciated the clarity & ~advance notice. Although I'm very curious at just how low the projected attendance must be for them to make some of those choices, e.g, hubs, receptions, etc.

Yup, email today to members. Had a ~generic title "AGU25 News - A Message from AGU President Brandon Jones", not very attention grabbing.

Maybe? Or now all the Friday 10AM presenters are crying because more people will leave Thursday night? AGU is going to have to make Thursday night particularly attractive to keep folks around. When it was in SF, I sometimes went in on friday just because I felt bad about low attendance for stuff 😆
