I donβt think heβs a conspiracy theorist. But based on recent interactions, I think some engineers must be looking at hazard and risk through an extremely different lens that I have yet to fully grasp. @timblor.bsky.social, thoughts?

Drafting a response. But strange that he designs to a building code that accounts for all sorts of rare, but consequential events like earthquakes, fire, extreme snow and wind loads. Perhaps he feels that all those code requirements are unnecessary.
