Yes I just read juvenile Bewick’s Wrens have dark edges to their feathers

I do remember when there was little baby runs. They did have these darker feathers, but they were so small back then I guess I forgot.

You piqued my curiosity, because this is a species that often nests in my garden and I definitely recognized the face! Never noticed the dark feathers before.
