Newsom is a sociopath who’d happily throw trans people under the bus if it were politically expedient (tho I don’t actually think that’s on offer with Dems) Whereas Pete, I don’t love the messaging but he literally didn’t express a policy preference that differs even slightly from, say, AOC

Well it’s a general statement about left wing politics in Britain. In Britain central left get elected occasionally however far left so far never. In the UK when the centre right became far right, they got booted out. So very generally, centrists get elected . Whether they stay centrist is different
