Not often I find a New Yorker piece long-winded drivel, but this one qualifies. 5,017 pages to report Jeff Bezos had a mid-life crisis, discovered a raging id, plus all his interests lusted after less regulation, lower taxes, *and* he could get laid by more women than Mackenzie Scott. OK. Got it.
Selling out? Sold out is more like it
Uh, yeah.
Outstanding journalism @claremalone.bsky.social Basically, nerd got rich and decided to buy a place at the cool kids table Also interesting how his swole transition left behind a sophisticated literary wife for a popular MAGA one w/ jet social circle “intellectual journey” & “a mind at work” ha!

Oh that's great! Maybe now people will listen in time for the 2024 elect-- *checks calendar*
"A journalist who knows Bezos said, 'He’s on an intellectual journey. Wherever he lands, he’s thinking. Whatever it is, it’s a mind at work.'" That's a polite way to say he doesn't know what he's doing.
Journalism has gone from: “Afflict the comfortable & comfort the afflicted” —> Comfort the comfortable & Affront the afflicted
New Yorker, where you been? He sold out his family, his country all for size 44d and a yacht built in Rotterdam.
