#Carney said #Canada will lift retaliatory duties by Sept. 1, b/c DJT reassured him that removing tariffs on CUSMA goods would boost talks. Can ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ be trusted? #Kinew says, " #Canadians want us to fight for this country we love so much. This doesn't seem to match the moment." Do you agree? #cdnpoli

Small businesses that haven't yet found alternatives to US supplies/markets didn't need a tariff and many now are grappling with removal of the low value exemption. Trust or no trust these owners and their employees need to survive the transition

No one can make someone buy something if they don't want to.

Remove tariffs on stuff Canada doesnโ€™t make is smart. We leave the dumb moves to Trump. We must help Trump with US tariffs that hurts US, like tariffs on steel, aluminum and potash which they canโ€™t make more. Put Canadian expsurcharges on them to make US people really feel.
