"Addressing the issue" is essential, but that means refuting Farage's framing of the issue. The media makes sure plenty of people live in a post-truth world, so it doesn't matter how much better their life gets any more, they will still be led to believe it's shit and that's all immigrants' fault.

The Telegraph and 80% of the tabloids actively support RF and the BBC & Sky lead with tabloid stories it is going to be difficult to turn this around.The fact that Labour a left wing party purged it's left wing members and activist support and punched down on those most vulnerable has not helped
Exactly. They’re always complaining about the cost of immigration, but at £1.3b per annum it’s a drop in the ocean compared to the £190b we’re paying in debt interest on the £2.7 trillion government debt, of which £1.8 trillion was added by the Tories. There’s plenty Labour is missing.
