What’s funny is I was a HUGE country music fan. I know all the words to a ton of songs. And I can’t listen to today’s country for more than a second before turning it off because it’s grievance bullshit following the most boring overdone tune you’ve ever heard. I’m not even a purist!

Try the album Blueneck by Chris Houseman. It's a new twist to country and has a few songs unique to the genre. Blueneck, Drag Queen and Guilty As Sin are my favorite. The last one is about Chris fighting his identity as a gay man and trying to resist falling in love w a guy he was very attracted to.
