I was one of a dozen people in the theater tonight, and while I was laughing a lot, I didn’t hear anyone else laughing. This movie was made to be funny, and I can’t help but wonder if people have lost their sense of humor. I know the world is ON FIRE, but I choose to find some good in it.
It’s better for my mental health to appreciate the small things, like a funny gross movie, because if I don’t, I fall into despair really quickly. Yikes, that got dark unexpectedly.
Did it have the line "the monkey who likes to murder my loved ones is back" Because I thought I heard that line in an ad or a trailer, and I cranked my head sideways like a dog
It’s definitely in the trailer, and I think it was in the movie itself, but to be honest my memory is garbage right now, so I could be wrong. The movie’s dialogue is pretty funny though.
