I read somewhere that Autism is passed on through male genetics (sperm) - speculating here but what if that little blue pill is contributing to degrading the quality of sperm ?

If parents engage in rough sex, the physical impacts could affect the child's brain development. Side effects manifest in adulthood, involving speculation about the quality of sperm and autism on social media. Access to appropriate resources is recommended as therapy, and recovery is complete. 😉
I regret that I can like this only once.
You’re welcome! 🤭😆
God, you are weird
Oh come on, take the brim out of your back and have a bit of fun. Laugh, enjoy the 2nd degree, don’t blame others to be weird when you believe that low quality sperm is provoking autism. Piece and fun. ✌️
You don't need anything extra to pass on genetic material. Sperm quality doesn’t need to be "degraded" to have the genes for a mostly heritable trait.
I’m not a geneticist & have no interest in agreeing or disagreeing with your statement. The fact that genes can be modified in vitro for some genetic markers proves your theory incorrect
There are over 30,000 studies that show genetic markers for autism. It predates all of the "environmental factors" non-scientists like to blame by centuries, according to medical literature, and most likely has always been in the gene pool since hominins existed.
A drug is not an environmental factor.

No such thing as fetal alcohol syndrome?
So thalidomide didn't impact fetal limb development?
What does that have to do with anything? It’s never been approved for use in the US.
It's an example of a drug being an environmental factor.
In fact, anything that isn't genetic is environmental.
No
What do you think “environmental” means?
This should be interesting.
Did AI tell you that ?
Nope. I've been reading scientific studies for several decades now.
Oh & appeals to authority are the lamest rhetorical device.
Citing experts with solid credentials in their field and research to back up claims is nothing at all like appeal to authority. In fact, what makes an appeal to authority a fallacy is the authority's lack of subject matter expertise.
Fail. That’s not how the appeal to authority works. Good try though.

& you have time on SM to quibble ? I’ve not attested to any scientific knowledge. Part one) I read somewhere that austim passes through sperm/male DNA. Part 2) speculating if little blue pill degrades sperm. Considering you’re so learned your reading & comprehension skills are wanting
I'm retired now. Yes, I have time on top of decades of reading primary source materials.
It’s generally a good maxim that if you are not knowledgeable of any particular subject, then stop right there.
Good. Practice it for yourself. Start now
Screenshot of where this person has done that?
Better than speculating, try reconsidering where you "read things" and learning how to assess the quality of that information. Probably more likely that autistic fathers had autistic children, and you "don't get autistic women".
Oh, dear heart. I’ll speculate all I want. You can scoot back under your rock now.
autism isn't just gendered to males. all people of all genders can be autistic. pretty sure it's just genetic in general. what you probably read is that older sperm (older men) are more likely to have autistic children. but you're more likely to have autistic children if you are autistic. period.
Oh really ? More boys than girls have autism. Never bought into old man sperm theory. www.nih.gov/news-events/...
Unfortunately for you, if you post things on the internet, people will have opinions about them. If you want anyone to take you seriously you're going to have to bring us the scientific papers which evidence your speculation. Anywhere under the rock is fine!
I have no problem with opinions.
Honestly, I think that the spike in autism is from people delaying having children until they are older. Not that I blame them with how expensive everything is. But 30s and sometimes 40s to have kids may be passing the expiration date.
I don’t know enough to speculate on that ! I recall seeing a news report (watch out alarmist, I’m recalling !) where one young family had 3 or 4 children & all of the kids were all on the spectrum at varying degrees. My heart goes out to parents & caregivers who do not have the resources or access
to supports for the children.
“I read somewhere” - stop speculating. You’re not advancing a hypothesis or contributing to the discussion.
No, but the part of western men having lower sperms counts now is true.
& quality. Slow swimmers. Something is going on
Same as in Iowa with the cancer rates. Probably pesticides and toxins they spray everywhere. Of course, that little blue pill seems to hit the right timeline as well. On another note, I'm sick of all the ed ads for the generic. These guys can't even get a women now a days. They don't need a pill.
Cancer ally is another example. Even after winning a landmark case decades ago to have the water cleaned up, what still flows out of taps is chemical sludge. Agree with the ED ads .. I mean really Cock and text 6969 tells you a lot about any guy who would buy into that
We need to stop the flow of cash from these big corps into our government. They are literally killing us.
