10 of the 11 recessions from 1953-2020 were under Republican Presidents. The GOP has been the least fiscally responsible party for over 70 years and has spent just as much time trying to convince the base they are.

The facts are stark. So how do Republicans continue to convince people they are "better with the economy?" I guess they assume rich people are "better with money" but don't get that DOES NOT "trickle down" to them.
