Anyone who says America is the greatest country in the world is someone who has never been outside of the US.

They think their trailer park is the lap of luxury.
I have a friend who told me her kidneys got damaged from the water in her trailer park. I went on to read that this is a very common problem in trailer parks.
Has she figured out that the slave trade existed across 3 centuries here? Seventeenth to mid 19th. It was only in the mid 20th that many injustices and inequalities were acknowledged. We still haven't fixed things... But, sure, let's erase MOST of our national history.
There's no such thing as the greatest country in the entire world. However, we can't say being one of the worst countries in the world is a more accurate description. Until the USA follows the lead of the UK, Canada, & Australia's Universal Healthcare systems, as well as helping their citizens
seen more as a Hand Up than a Hand Out. This is 1 of the many things as a nation that you can do better. Australia isn't perfect, but all that I want of for my fellow citizens is seeing my nation continuing doing better, without an end goal, otherwise than continual improvement!!
I think interesting that voting in Australia is mandatory. There might be something to be said for that law!
We get fined when we don't turn up to vote in Local, State, & Federal. I've got the Victorian Electoral Commission for State & Local, and the Australian Electoral Commission at Federal. This is the price that we gladly pay to live in a Democracy!!
I think it's a great idea!
The closest thing that Australia ever had to a Revolution for a 30min battle at the Eureka Stockade in the Gold mining Town in the Colony of Victoria. 13 men were tried for High Treason against the Crown, with each of them found Not Guilty.
The Colony of Victoria became the first place in the British Empire to give common man the rights to vote and own land. Peter Fitzsimons' book is the most in-depth book I've read on the Eureka Stockade December 3rd, 1854, but more importantly, what led up the building the Stockade in the first place
I will give DT his dues; Between Trumps tariffs and over shit things he has done since getting into office, helped make the Canadian & Australian voters returning both parties a 2nd Parliament term by landslides. Both opposition leaders lost their electoral seats. This happened in the same week!!
I'm glad someone saw some good come from our misery!
I've got friends and family the US,whom I am concerned about!! My only advice during every election is that there is no such thing as the best candidate!! Voting against the worst is the only option!I I save my optimism for the Sporting World...
