Because THEY don’t want to be inconvenienced. Meanwhile, they spread that shit around and the rest of us are inconvenienced (at best). My 28-year-old lost 2 years of his life to, Dr diagnosed, long COVID. He wasn’t able to much besides get to the bathroom and sometimes make simple food for himself.
I'll bet that was hard for you, too. I'm sorry for you both. I hope he is improving.
It was mostly just difficult to watch him be in pain. Thankfully, I have a partner who is truly a partner and so with the both of us stepping up to help care for him, it wasn’t a too much of a physical drain.
He's lucky to have you both!
