I was struck by how weak the West looked after the China meeting of autocrats and dictators. Trump has attacked and belittled US allies that defended the free world post WW2. The US itself seems unsure of its leadership role in opposing the bizarre N Korea, Russia and Iran alliance. Strange indeed
If you mean west = USA, I agree. Otherwise, I don't agree. Canada and Europe are playing smarter.
No, I meant the West as a whole. With the US as a very unreliable partner jt will take years for the rest of the alliance to make up the shortfall. The US supplies,and controls the use of, the bulk of advanced Western defence weapons.
