I disagree with this, humans only generally suck because of the systems put in place and upheld almost exclusively by and for the people who do actually suck

Is there anywhere that exists where there aren't any systems like that, though?
There's matters of degree for sure.
unfortunately right now I couldn't name you a place that isn't touched by the perverse incentive towards greed created by the authoritarian systems we live under, but that should stop people from striving to create those places for ourselves plus i dont know everywhere on the map, those might exist
Well here's the thing: what about rapists and pedophiles? That doesn't inherently correlate with greed.
someone thinking they're entitled to someone else's body seems pretty greedy to me
this 100% like i said in my own replies, greed is a form of power, and power is inherently greedy. One can't centralize authority without incentivizing holding on to that authority.
You 2 obviously know I meant greed as in money lmao. Plenty of poor pedos out there.
greed could be understood as the desire to gain power over others (wealth is an expression of relative power, after all), we just don't call it that if it's not money greed is the same antisocial drive that results in all exploitation the aggressors' ends usually boil down to dominance over others
rapists and pedophiles can die for all i care, but not everyone is a rapist and not everyone is a pedophile. And specifically those two correlate heavily with power dynamics, using perceived power to abuse those with less or without. Flattening power structures SHOULD help with some of that
it won't help with all of it cause some people will just be awful people, but right now society does give those people a better chance to do heinous things.
mainly what i'm saying is doomer apathy is antithetical to change. Don't get sad, get angry, and use that passion to help create change for the better
