If he quits, Trump gets the smug feeling of running off someone who wouldn't bend to his will and whoever replaces Cook is an immediate laydown to save the tariff situation. It's a lose/lose, and throwing a bunch of adjectives to kick more dirt on Cook, Apple, or even That Guy doesn't change that.
