As an old native Californian and longtime liberal Democrat, I have my critiques and misgivings about Newsom. But this may be his moment, manifesting just what it takes to defeat Trumpism. Even if Newsom 'kinda sucks' he's several orders of magnitude better than Trump. On balance? Go Gavin!
