It looks like there is a new shot after all, just that hardly anyone can get it. I have seen something that says you may be able to have your doc recommend it, but insurance may not cover it (and we know that public health won’t be picking up the tab for uninsured like earlier in the pandemic)

Yes. Just approved (with restrictions) yesterday. Maybe try booking it and just say you’re a smoker or something if you’re under 65.

my doc knows I quit right before the pandemmy….But I do have an appt soon I can see if there’s another option.

Oooh good to know. I’m real nervous returning to campus for the first time without a boost since they started them. Every day I’m glad I work in a room with super HVAC because printing solvents. Sometimes I think that and my N95 are the only thing keeping me healthy. Ironic cuz the solvents are yuck

The only version available in the us are last falls formulation (I dont know what the name is). The new formulation (this one they’re doing in Canada) the order was canceled back in like May? Maybe June? This summer has been a bit of a blur. It was when they also tossed out the updated flu shot.
