Gah! Today I had to connect an actual RS232 device!! 🤦‍♂️ I did not want to be remembering all the faff of DTE/DCE; null-modem or straight-through cable, etc, etc,... ☹️

A grey box with a black RS232 cable plugged into it. There is also a black USB cable (with a yellow tag on it), and a circular blue connector with a grey lead.
