one of the exhausting things about bluesky dot com is the sheer weight of daft bloody Americans and their dumb takes and their endless LOOK HOW AWFUL EVERYTHING IS. And then some of the Brits I actually follow RT their dumb, doomladen stuff.

I do suspect the drop-off in Bluesky usage is disproportionately American, given that American online leftists are outright deranged and American online centrists are both astonishingly pompous and highly-strung

My top tip is to follow Jesse Signal if you aren't already. All the block lists it puts you on work in your favour and you completely miss a lot of nonsense (not bloody flags again though.) He never posts anyway.
