Having spent the last 24 days living off hotel breakfasts, I have seen some sights, but nothing that bad (intimidated by the idea of having to make my own toast tomorrow)

It makes me think of the Pratchett quote of the British tendency to take an American idea and remove the one redeeming quality, so we end up with things like slow fast food and West Country and western music.

Personally I'm more into the Croissant/pain-au-chocolat crossover you can get from Pret. They sell them frozen in Sainsburys too now it seems.
