whomst could have possibly imagined that Mr Hypnotits might be saying ill-considered stupid things that are going to upset people?

I actually felt my moobs getting smaller, reading that interview.
OMFG!
Well you have to admire how he moves from one strongly held view to the opposite strongly held view within the space of a sentence, without missing a beat.
It felt more like he hadn’t considered his position fully and when he was presented with a counterfactual, he tried to integrate it into the narrative. Unless you’re a very good debater, it’s hard to do without coming off like someone who doesn’t actually have a well-reasoned position. 🤷🏻
Whatever
I've been trying to say this on the other place and was quickly met with words to the effect that "oh, no one's going to care about that unless they don't want to support him anyway (thanks Zoe)." Rightly or wrongly, perception matters in politics. twitter.com/GrahamGiles7...
Huge Yanis Varoufakis wrong ‘un vibes coming off this bloke
Hang in there sisters
yes! You've put your finger on what grates about him for me: the ill-considered over-confidence
For me it's never trust a woo merchant who did it in adulthood. Sorry you were a grifter and unless entirely repudiating that for what it was, no reason to think are still not that and your current guise isn't that too.
(As kind of shown by that interview as a politician who grasped issues beyond it being a pose would never say something so obviously stupid).
Sanctimony and Dunning-Kruger is a heady cocktail
His bid to be the least likeable Polanski gathers pace
Worse than that, I think. He's a crank and a quack. So not only are you getting the over confidence and reliance on a rigid ideological belief set, but you are also getting a true believer in mind over matter medicine, ie magic. And that acts as a host for all manner of unpleasant stuff.
I happen to know the chap on whom Ricky Gervais based Gareth off of The Office and Polanski gives off the exact same vibe.
Please tell us more, much more. Have you any pictures of his haircut, for instance?
His name is Gareth Kearns aka Gareth Roberts (not that one) and he is best known as Steve Bray's long haired shouty sidekick.
He used to be the bassist in a Queen tribute band managed by Gervais and was so weird, especially around women, that Gervais as it were banked him for future use. This according to Gervais' autobiography.
Was he in the Territorial Army?
No. Failed actor.
Forgot that this guy is being advised by Zarb, which speaks for itself.
Wow. What a tit.
