I believe that feeling you need that weapon in the US is a form of mental illness. Certainly the worship of these killing machines is a sickness. So, yes.

There isn't anything wrong with anyone wanting a modern military rifle. Worship is another thing. But we have a right to own military small arms, and have since our founding.

And you have an economic interest in seeing that it remains so. You can make your money selling weapons that are not predominantly used for shooting school children and other people efficiently and rapidly. Founders did not foresee weapons firing 45 rounds a minute.

I don't sell or make anything for the commercial market, and I don't work for a company that sells to the civilian market. Guns could be completely banned tomorrow with zero loopholes or anything and I would still have a job. Founders did foresee 45 rounds a minute, as they bought Chamber's gun.

That’s good you have security. I try not to think in absolutist terms either way. But I look at Europe and Japan and then see the almost daily carnage we have in the US and I do not see the point of high capacity automatic weapons for civilians. What’s a Chamber’s gun, like a gatling gun?
