quite wild to see the utter degradation of accountability in, & by, media in NZ rapid acceleration into post-truth, to point where all govt parties are openly lying & sharing extremist rhetoric, that would've been out of bounds 18months ago, & getting platformed without question

Absolutely. The unchecked propaganda spewed by the media is very dangerous.
It makes me feel like I'm becoming unhinged from reality because all the rhetoric from the authorities just does not match what I'm seeing - from Gaza, to the NZ economy, to the particulars of teachers remuneration! But no, they really have realised they can just say whatever they want
