People don't realize how bad things can get, measles is the most infectious disease known to man and sends 1 in 5 kids to the hospital. We physically do not have enough hospital space and staff to handle that

My son is a libertarian. During COVID, he was all “Let it rip!” When I asked him what happens when hospitals are filled to overflowing, doctors/nurses/respiratory therapists are burned out & quitting, not to mention care needed by COVID survivors with long COVID, he just shrugged his shoulders.
