Back when we ran wild and free through the neighborhoods, skateboarded, biked, etc. I was tanned and bleach blonde all summer. We'd go to the beach to hang out all day and no parents were looking for us. I wish we could go back.

We interacted with the world and each other, and we learned important skills like how to deal with stuff. I don't remember any kid having that gen z blank stare. We were all lively and engaged, even the stupid kids.
