👍
I do like that intro. Price is without peer
Price decided to take a fixed fee for his appearance rather than royalties. Great job. I loved him in movies
My first album, I won it on the radio when I was 13... played it till it warped... lol
These words he speaks are true!.
Good stuff. My older brother made me listen to it.....cause we shared a room as young boys
Great album!
I believe he had a TV special for this album?
Yes he did. I don’t think the filming was done very well if I remember right
Second LP I ever owned. Parents gave it to me for Xmas. Respect to my parents. Most hated Alice. My parents weren't fans but they got it. They saw Alice for what he was and said so himself. Alice was a rock Vaudeville Act.
Did a lot of my courting to this on 8 track, married 50 years next year
Congratulations! That’s worth celebrating for sure 👍
Thanks ☺️
Great album.
I have that one (as well as many others) in original vinyl.
My daughter was so in love with Alice Cooper when she was in high school.
I've seen him live a couple times. Great show!
I saw this tour. I wasn’t expecting it but it’s one of the best shows I’ve ever seen!
It's a complete show. I saw him when I lived in the Detroit area and again after I had moved to Utah.Alice gave me a taste for bands Luke Cradle of Filth.
"Leaving Lepidoptera, please don't touch the displays little boy... eh, cute..."
Love this album
I love this album so much!
Ah, WTMN was the first album that got me into Cooper's stuff. What an adventure. 💜
Haven’t heard that in 40 years. Instant flashback. Shame he’s such an arse, these days.
It's one of my favorite albums ever!
Bought this as a record a few years ago from a local disc shop that's now closed. It was 5$ because it was old and in rough condition. I didn't know most of the songs on it back then, but figured, for 5$ it can't be bad. It's an amazing album and I'm very glad I picked it up that day
This was my first concert, April 25, 1975 at the Philly Spectrum.
Excellent show. Jo Jo Gunne opened for them when I saw it
Suzi Quatro! Think she appeared on Happy Days a few times.
She was an early rocker for sure
Probably the last great Alice album and he didn’t have his band behind him anymore
The two guitarists apparently worked on Billion Dollar Babies as well. They were part of Lou Reed’s band
Yeah Alice talks about that in interviews how it was a different time when he & Lou had band members that would happily contribute to albums or on stage to both of them
I saw this tour when I was in ninth grade, lol.
Me too - awesome wasn't it?
April 1975 at The Spectrum, my third concert. I was allowed to leave school early for general admission. It was awesome, especially for a 14 year-old.
Suzi Quatro opened.
General admission was great for me but I had a friend pass out from getting crushed at a show during a stage rush once.
We sat on the side, roughly between the blue line and center ice. I had friends on the floor that got hit with something explosive at a seated Spectrum Zappa show.
I used to listen to that album through my jenson headphones back in the 70's. Awesome.
I highly recommend finding the episode of The Muppet Show where Alice Cooper sings “Welcome to my Nightmare” with the whole crew! It’s the moment I fell in love with him. 🙃
Thanks for the heads up! I’ve got to find it tomorrow
Saw Alice Cooper's Welcome to my Nightmare Tour live in 1977. Incredible stage show. Loved Vincent Price.
I love this and have the vinyl!
Day 27
NSFW, characters are 18+.
I met Vincent Price in 1980. Very nice guy.
The first rock concert I ever attended was the tour for this album. I still listen to it on occasion. Those were the really truly creative days of rock.
“Man has ruled this planet as a demented child king long enough!”
Well, that deserves a follow.
My middle school heavy rotation album. Along with KISS, and, a bit later, Ramones.
Got this on CD. Seen Alice in concert 5 times, he's worth it!
Brought back memories, thanks
Album cover art by Drew Struzan, who did a ton of other things including movie posters.
I didn’t know that and those were the days I studied everything on an album!
If you do an internet search for him you'll be like, 'he did that? and that? AND that? I know ALL that stuff."
Definitely going to check him out
Grew up listening to Uncle Alice. Love it and I have all of his albums.
Good album but I was disappointed that he had broken up the Alice Cooper Group.
It was a great run while it lasted
🕷️🤘
I know I'm going to like it
