Judge Engelmeyer rightly identifies Bondi’s request to unseal grand jury testimony as disingenuous. It sounds secret and sensational, but in fact is not; the testimony was simply a summary of known facts. Obviously, the attempt was to use these materials as a sop to Cerberus; to reveal nothing.
