I never said it was difficult. I am sure there are cases that have benefited the core of society as well as those on its margins. Sadly, even now, the best we see is folk saying “leaving would be bad”

I think it's difficult to make a positive argument that's not immediately obvious if you understand the negative potential? I mean, rights are rights and inalienable because they're the minimum basis on which good things can be built. Rights create safety, which enables freedom.

In case it’s unclear…. The undermining of just Art 8 and its misuse to out trans folk would be a disaster for me. There are no competent, platformed, good-faith actors in this debate that I can see :( Just a bunch of us getting more and more “concerned” :(
