Two boys said disgusting things to me as they walked by and I said, "get back here" and they came and stood there while I asked them if it would be ok for other boys to say that to their mom. 1//2

They mumbled, no. I told them it was unacceptable and sent them away. 1) they came when I told them to so I know they respected women 2) consequences? None. But... was it a deterrence? I have no idea how we can effect change here. 2/2
