Blue Dog coalition sounds a lot like the New Dems that came into being in the 1990's who claimed to have progressive policies, which turned out to be more nonsense from a bunch of neoliberals.

I can’t really deny she is a solid representation of what people sound like in my district. We are a no income tax state and my city is a cross the river from a no sales tax state. Left libertarians.

The New dems now are just progressives who only might be more likely to support Israel and Reparations to black people.

My rep says she voted with democrats for 8/10 things but she is also probably rightfully upset that she doesnt have much control over what gets brought to the floor. And i mostly just want her to say sorry for save act vote and not do it again…

I think my rep is the first Blue Dog leader that is on the equality caucus.

She is to the left of nearly all 90’s democrats for that reason.

But yeah in spirit and tone? Yeah she has 90’s vibes. But she is not much older than me. I like her writing more than her votes.
