Thank you for this reporting. I called @senatorstevesantarsiero.com to ask what his thinking was behind his yes vote and am waiting for a call back. Criminalizing homelessness doesn’t align with democratic values.
The Senate Dems have lost their way. This is inhumane and not ok.
First thing I do every time I see something like this is make sure it isn't my congressperson. Fortunately, Collette was not one of them. Of course, in the House, Milou Mackenzie, whom I am unfortunately saddled with, can always be counted on to do the wrong thing.
Disgraceful. That's not why I vote for democrats. How about doing better for people?
