There is no ethical quandary with respect to Maxwell. Representing her on her appeal or in the regular pardon process is ethical. Joining in a sham legal process of a proffer with a known liar as witness who no ethical DOJ attorney would put up in a trial is unethical. This is politics, not law.

bsky.app/profile/taoj... As I said nonsense This patent attorney 🙄 presumes Markus acted unethically, without a jot of evidence That the DOJ has acted in an extraordinary fashion DOES NOT IMPLICATE the defense attorney in any wrongdoing — except to dickhead know nothings (agree @bmaz.bsky.social ?)

Absolutely agree. Markus hasn't done anything wrong or that any good defense atty wouldn't do....exploit your openings where you find them. If the government is screwed up, take advantage of it for your client.

Have you ever resigned a lucrative position because of ethical concerns? I have. Maybe you think having ethics is being an idiot. Please realize you are not defending Maxwell’s attorney, you are being defensive w/o having the facts. That shows poor judgment. Not my fault.
