Peggy Hill has got to be one of the all-time great characters. Extremely funny, often having the best lines. A female character who is allowed to have real flaws and do bad things, yet you still like her & root for her. Has her noble & sympathetic moments too, and a genuine relationship with Hank

Her relationship with Luanne is so touching and real, like so many parental relationships on the show it’s genuine love but filtered through this warped lens of presumption and projection — she really does want the best for Luanne, but it’s also partly for a fantasy Luanne who’s more like her
Peggy is literally insane and delusional and she’s kind of an icon for it. Top Peggy moments for me is kidnapping a Mexican girl and tipping over a country music stars trailer into a lake and nearly killing him. I can’t even pick a third, there’s too many.
Kind of a bad person but still a good mom. Writers don’t treat her with kid gloves because she’s a woman, but it never feels mean-spirited against her. Just one of the greats
Peggy is written so cleverly, genuinely hilariously, and as much as she can be unlikeable she still is loveable as a character KOTH is such a favorite to re-watch!
I love Peggy, but I feel like she gets hate online, kind of excessively IMO. Some of my favorite moments of the show are Peggy moments. Her entire role in the episode w/ Bobby's crush (where Peggy says 'Oh I get why Bobby likes her, she looks just like me')-- hilarious
