take a burner phone, preferably a flip phone with only the contacts needed.

In BC we were told months ago to only take pay as you go phones across the border and leave all other devices at home. That right there is enough for me to say Nah, I will stay home, too.

Come on Canada. Stay home and explore your beautiful country. Or go to Europe where most people are sane.

But, yeah: if you could just come to the the USA and give us your tourist dollars, that would be great.

I got a dumb flip phone for when I got up to Montreal. Going into Canada is fast and easy. Coming back can be stupid.

At those point nobody should be going to the US. Why give any $ to this country in any fashion. Lots of other places to visit that's not run by a racist, homophobic misogynistic thug.

American here. Even Americans are considering burner phones if leaving the country. Honestly, just give us a pass for now and go somewhere non-fascist. We'll miss our Canadian neighbors, but you wouldn't go to a BBQ if the neighbors were beating their kids. Why come here at this point?
