I spotted this graphic which I think makes it clear. I discussed my concern with the Director General at an event in Parliament and i expect this petition will reach the threshold for debate in Parliament
No fan of Reform in any way whatsoever but I'm not sure their level of media attention is that unfair when they're currently polling 10-15 points ahead of everyone else. It's a terrible hand we've got to work with but we have to accept it and find ways to get attention.
Allegedly, the media is hyping Reform up , It's as if the media barons want a Reform goverment.
Yeah, I think it's undeniable there's palpable media excitement at the idea of far right government here just as there was in the US; rolling updates on endless chaos is great business. But at the same time, any tiny party of any stripes now polling 10-15 points ahead would get the most attention.
Wall to wall Coverage first then opinion poll surges....its predictable and unfair bias.
Honestly, they were already surging forward in the polls well before the coverage level got this high, well before the last election even when it was still all about Lab vs Con.
Whether its was ukip, brexit or now deform their Coverage always out of proportion.

You may be referring to the Devolution & Community Empowerment Bill. If so I am the Lib Dem spokesperson for this debate. Coverage is not in scope, but will be pushing for wider electoral reform. An elections bill is due in the autumn.
