Hypocrites abound among politicians. That's why we should get rid of elections and have random citizens chosen to serve in Congress. They would make much better decisions than the folks currently ensconced there.

I'd rather have ranked-choice voting, neutral districting commissions, and instant recall: 50% of the given voting electorate can vote "no confidence" in a given representative. If they succeed, the rep is tossed and a special election is called. There's other good ideas, but word count.
