Agree! Just made this and it was delish…except for the flavorless sauce. The turmeric added nothing (although there are health benefits I suppose). Sauce needs salt and acid (vinegar, lime juice, whatever). I also added a bit of mayo for sweetness.
I made a garlic lemon yogurt sauce instead after reading the comments. A tahini sauce would be really good here as a vegan swap
