I researched guns back in 1989, after 14 women were killed at Polytechnique using a Ruger mini-14, since I was a student at Université de Montréal at the time. Actually, I was at Poly 24 hrs before the shooting & couldn't set foot on campus for weeks. We requested new gun laws ASAP.
