It is entirely old news; they covered it in 2019. The NYT on occasion reminds us that Trump often demeans, objectifies, paws, insults, and ogles women. Then they forget about it for a few years. What they never do is suggest that it may make him grossly unfit for office.

Like today, they claimed that by reversing himself on chip policy, he’s “courting” China. While he’s ricocheting from one thing to another impulsively, chaotically, clearly cognitively impaired, they’re framing it as sane, strategic, focused. It’s stunning how much legacy media has failed us.

it’s a 10 second sound bite compared to the nonstop coverage and reframing of his many errors/crimes/corruption etc etc etc.. they all use him for clicks and views because news and journalism aren’t the priority anymore, just political entertainment and theatrics

They 100% paved the way for his election and re-election. Most obviously in 2016 with but her emails. And in 2024, they took every crazy thing he did and said and same-washed it. A 3 hour deranged rally rant would become “a speech focused on the economy.” They will never quit him.
