So valid criticisms of the Lib Dems. They have many good policies but I think they have trouble encapsulating it in an overall narrative. I agree also that the local and national messages need to work better together. They have a golden opportunity to be a new progressive force. I’m on their journey
I agree regarding the Lib Dems and believe this is particularly important because we need the centre ground to hold and strengthen; otherwise, the extremes will pull us apart and (in the case of the far-right), backwards.
Liberalism is so relevant now. Power over your own life, power for communities, not in a free for all but with state support for that. I cannot understand how it is being so poorly communicated.
