That's very true. Even in GEs. At the last election, Lib & Green hardly dented Lab in my constituency. Not even taken together. I really hate #FPTP. My vote disappeared.

Especially in GEs. In local elections some parts of Bracknell Forest elected mainly Lib Dem and Green councillors, while Bracknell itself tended towards Labour (huge swing away from Conservatives everywhere.) In the GE the only way to oust the Tories was for most LDs & Greens to vote Labour.

And the pattern is set to continue till #FPTP goes. I would dearly welcome an alliance that breaks the mould at the next GE.
