Nonsense. There is MOST UNFORTUNATELY no such thing as legal Scottish citizenship as Scotland is the last remaining colony of UK. I'm Scottish, living in Scotland, yet can only claim UK citizenship. I feel extremely GRRRRRRRR about this.
ok sorry let me clarify my point.. he has UK citizenship by descent because of his Scottish mother.. (which means if "Scottish Citizenship" was a thing, it would have been your problem.)

No he does not. His mum was born here, that doesn't make him a citizen.
