Yep. Big disappointment.
FFS, Fetterman is from swing state PA that Trump carried by 2 pts in 2024. Would you prefer his Senate seat to go to a MAGAT, so then you could bash a MAGAT Senator for voting for Trumps agenda?
How could we distinguish between a senator that votes against the Constitution, and a senator that votes against the Constitution?
Hate to break it to ya’, but Dems lost that battle in 2020, when Mitch & Leonard Leo (ever heard of him?) succeeded in achieving judicial capture of SCOTUS w/ Federalist Society members (& today’s ruling in Trump v CASA only highlights that fact, a blow to lower courts to consolidate SCOTUS power).
Totally. It doesn’t matter who’s senator at all then.
As long as GOP cower in fear of their King & maintains control of both chambers of Congress, true. But it’s always amazing when Dems (unless you’re actually MAGAT sock puppet accounts posing as Dems) decide to attack defenders of Constitution who’re struggling to hold ground in a losing battle.
I retract my apology. While I wouldn’t necessarily saw I don’t regret my vote, there was no fucking chance is vote for Dr. Oz, and also no fucking chance I’d sit at home. I should have done the responsible thing and been more behind Conor Lamb.
Agree..Fetterman will now be losing his in 2030
Things are looking more and more suspicious about that two point victory. Even if the election wasn't rigged outright (and I'm not saying it was or wasn't) there were enough voter suppression shenanigans to throw the results into question. We need free, fair, and transparent elections. Now.
What does that have to do w/ Fetterman beating odds to decisively win a Senate seat in 2022? Or that it flipped to Trump in 2024 by a narrow margin (44k votes; 0.72%) after it went with Biden in 2020 (1.2%)? Are U doubting PA is a swing state, & has been for decades now (since at least 1990s)?
He was a different man. The stroke changed him. This isn't about who Pennsylvania elected; it's about Pennsylvania not having a Recall process.
I'm even more sorry that I defended him daily against Trump and MAGA mocking him mercilessly after his stroke. Only to see him join their fascist movement. What a horrible POS human.
I genuinely wonder if he changed due to his stroke or if he was grifting the whole time? 🤔
Grifting
Having a stroke can drastically change your personality.
Very true as I have personal experience with stroke victims. It can be a complete 180 with everything and it’s super scary.
