Another thing I hope isn’t overlooked is that he has never donated one single penny of his presidential salary, and I want the GAO to prove it. Yes, these are small things but believing (or even just accepting) the myriad small lies greases the skids for the big ones.

Yep, he got a lot of credulous, positive press out of that BS, and then everyone forgot that he could easily prove this claim by producing his tax returns, which we can only guess are still “under audit” (after a decade 🙄)? Total failure of our media.
