Diversity in all things: people, environment, love. Our planet demands diversity as a natural order. Thank you Washington State. Never give in.
Stand strong!
This is what what all schools, law firms, judges, universities should be doing!
Don't submit to a mad king. DEI is imperative to our country's success.
How is that? Yes I do agree we need to foster the growth and opportunities for all underserved populations but how is discrimination going to do that? Can you explain how a law that actively discriminates in the hiring process is a good thing?
DEI is not a law. DEI is not discrimination. Diversity: when a workforce includes people from many backgrounds the benefit is different perspectives. Equity: all workers should benefit equally to prevent a caste system that stifles professional growth. Inclusion: everyone should feel welcome and 1/
included. That makes a happy place to work. The key difference of DEI was to actually make it happen. Is there actual diversity? If not then make it happen. Is there equity? Is there inclusion? What is being done to make it happen. It is important to realize that DEI is not easy. Naturally, hiring2/
looks for people with a similar background which leads to a culture that makes it hard for anyone different to break through and someone different breaks through then they feel very uncomfortable. Breaking that cycle by hiring a diverse workforce where every one has equity and inclusion is hard 3/
but leads to better qualified workers where everyone is better able to grow in their professional development. That is what DEI can be and should be if not demonized or just given lip service when it is popular and then dumped just as quicky when it is unpopular.
DEI actually protects qualified white applicants.
Excellent!
Diversity also means serving people where they are, and that includes alt text, but continued requests on other posts have been ignored.
You can’t alt-txt a link photo (I’ve tried). Probably because one can just got to the link and read the regular text there.
I'm not talking about the linked article, I've repeatedly asked on posted photos, but I decided to remind her when she posted about diversity being important.
Ah
These ridiculous anti-DEI attacks by the trumpettes erroneously assumes that they themselves are qualified for the positions they lead because they are suck-ups to the ego maniac. Take nothing from the feds and you can operate how you must. Be creative and think outside the box.
It’s not about “DEI” it’s about whitewashing history and removing any mention of politically inconvenient facts - intentionally cruel slavery, shamelessly broken treaties, and let’s definitely make sure we do not talk about the Philippines.
Thank you!😊
